Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

BredDay does not collect any personal information. All data is created and stored locally on your device, using the operating system's on-device storage:

• Herd Data: Your animals, breeding records, due dates, checkpoints, birth outcomes, sire information, and notes are stored locally on your device only.
• User Preferences: Your settings (such as reminder defaults, per-animal gestation overrides, and your acknowledgment of the in-app disclaimer) are stored locally on your device.
• Widget Data: The home-screen widget reads a small snapshot of your upcoming due dates from a shared container on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere.

Information We Do NOT Collect

BredDay does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Device identifiers
• Any data from other apps on your device

Notifications

BredDay can send reminders for breeding checkpoints and due dates. These notifications are:

• Scheduled and delivered entirely on your device
• Not push notifications — no external server is involved
• Fully controlled by your device's notification settings

CSV Export

BredDay Pro can export your herd log as a CSV file. Export happens only when you initiate it, and the file is handed to your device's system share sheet so you choose exactly where it goes (email, cloud storage, messaging, etc.). We never see or receive your exported data.

Third-Party Services

BredDay does not use any third-party services, external APIs, analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioral data. The app requires no internet connection to function.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device:

• Animal and breeding records, checkpoints, and outcomes
• User preferences and settings
• Subscription status (managed by the app store)

We do not operate servers that store your personal data. We have no user accounts and no cloud sync features. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security, and you can remove it at any time by deleting the app.

Your Data Rights

Privacy regulations such as the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) grant you rights over personal data that companies hold about you. Because BredDay collects no personal data, we hold none — there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. Your herd data exists only on your device and is entirely under your control; deleting the app deletes it.

Subscriptions

Using BredDay requires a Pro subscription. All subscription management and payment processing is handled entirely by the app store you downloaded BredDay from — such as the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not have access to your payment information, credit-card details, or store account. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your app store account settings. This Privacy Policy covers the BredDay app only — your app store's handling of your purchase information is described in its own privacy policy (for example, Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy).

Children's Privacy

BredDay does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is rated for all ages and contains no objectionable content.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
