BredDayPlease read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the BredDay mobile application ("App"). In these Terms, "we," "us," and "the developer" refer to the developer and publisher of BredDay. By downloading, installing, or using BredDay, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BredDay, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
BredDay is a livestock gestation and breeding record-keeping tool that provides:
- Estimated due-date calculation from breeding dates for cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, alpacas, and llamas
- Per-animal breeding logs, checkpoints, and outcome records
- A quick gestation calculator (Quick Calc)
- Calendar view of due dates and checkpoints
- Optional local checkpoint reminders
- A home-screen widget with upcoming due dates
- CSV export of your herd log
Not Veterinary Advice
BredDay is a record-keeping and calculation utility, not a veterinary service. It does not provide veterinary or medical advice.
Gestation lengths and heat-cycle figures are common reference values drawn from published university extension tables, and checkpoint templates reflect common husbandry practice. Actual gestation varies by animal, breed, health, and conditions. Always confirm management decisions, vaccination schedules, and birthing plans with your veterinarian. We are not responsible for animal health outcomes, missed breeding windows, or losses of any kind resulting from reliance on the App's calculated dates or reminders. Reminder delivery depends on your device's settings and operating system and is not guaranteed.
Assumption of risk: Livestock breeding involves inherent biological variability. Gestation lengths, heat cycles, and checkpoint timings are averages that individual animals will deviate from. The App presents all calculated dates as estimates, and you affirmatively acknowledge this disclaimer in the App before subscribing. By using the App, you acknowledge this variability and agree that you assume all risk arising from husbandry, breeding, and management decisions made in connection with the App.
Professional use: The App is a general-purpose calculation and record-keeping utility. It is not certified, validated, or intended for clinical veterinary use. Veterinarians and other animal-care professionals remain solely responsible for their own decisions and standard of care, and must not rely on the App as a substitute for professional judgment.

- Yearly: $9.99 USD per year, or the equivalent in your local currency (auto-renewable), with a 2-week free trial
Prices are set per storefront and may vary by country and currency; the price shown in your app store at the time of purchase applies.
Subscription Requirement
BredDay requires an active BredDay Pro subscription to use the app. Your subscription includes full access to all features:
- Due-date calculation and Quick Calc for all eight species
- Unlimited animals with breeding history, checkpoints, and reminders
- Calendar view, home-screen widget, and CSV herd export
Free Trial
Both plans include a 2-week free introductory trial for new subscribers, so you can use the full app for two weeks before any charge. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and your app store account (such as your Apple ID or Google account) is charged.
Auto-Renewal
Your subscription (monthly or yearly) will automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing Your Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings — on iOS via Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, or on Android via the Google Play Store > Subscriptions.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by the app store you downloaded BredDay from (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play). Refund requests must be made through that store according to its refund policies.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Verify calculated dates and checkpoint guidance against your own records and professional advice
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
5. Your Data
All herd records you create in BredDay are stored locally on your device and belong to you. We recommend exporting your herd log periodically (CSV export) as a backup — deleting the App deletes its local data.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of BredDay, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of the developer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- BredDay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of calculated due dates or the delivery of reminders
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, livestock, or data — including animal loss, missed breeding or management windows, veterinary costs, or other economic loss — resulting from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the past 12 months
- Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of BredDay from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
11. App Stores
The App is distributed through app stores — including the Apple App Store and Google Play — and is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of whichever store you downloaded it from.
Apple App Store. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the App. Apple is not a party to these Terms, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App, and is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Google Play. Your use of the App is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
