Focusmith does not collect any personal information. All data is created and stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• Habit Data: Your habits, completion records, and consistency scores are stored locally on your device only.
• Focus Session Data: Fortress Mode session history and statistics remain on your device.
• User Preferences: Your settings (appearance, notification preferences) are stored locally on your device.

Screen Time API

Focusmith uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls framework) to enable app blocking during Fortress Mode focus sessions. This functionality operates entirely on your device:

• App selection and blocking preferences are managed locally by the operating system
• No data about your app usage or blocked apps is transmitted off your device
• Screen Time permissions are handled by Apple's system-level privacy controls

Notifications

Focusmith may send local notifications to remind you about habits and focus sessions. These notifications are:

• Scheduled and delivered entirely on your device
• Not push notifications — no external server is involved
• Fully controlled by your device's notification settings

Third-Party Services

Focusmith does not use any third-party services, external APIs, analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioral data.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device:

• Habit records and completion history
• Focus session statistics
• User preferences and settings
• Subscription status (managed by Apple)

We do not operate servers that store your personal data. We have no user accounts and no cloud sync features.

Subscriptions

Focusmith offers an optional premium subscription. All subscription management and payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Children's Privacy

Focusmith does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content.
