Frequently asked
Why doesn't the fasting rule match my parish exactly?
Fasting practice varies by jurisdiction, parish, and household. Nistikon follows a widely published simplification and labels it as such. Always follow the guidance of your own priest.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. The fasting calendar, saints, and prayers are bundled and work in Airplane Mode. Your Apple device may contact the App Store for purchases or restores, and links you choose to open use your browser.
How do I switch to the Old (Julian) Calendar?
In Settings, choose a jurisdiction such as ROCOR or Serbian. Old-Calendar mode is part of Nistikon Premium.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open your device's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Nistikon.
