Our Commitment: Pew Pal is designed with your privacy as a priority. We collect minimal data and never share your personal information with third parties.
Information We Collect
Pew Pal collects and stores the following information locally on your device only:
- Language Preferences: Your choice of English, Latin, or side-by-side display mode
- Font Size Settings: Your preferred text size for comfortable reading
- App Settings: Other display preferences you configure
This data is stored using Apple's standard UserDefaults system and never leaves your device.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Pew Pal does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
- Location data
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Device identifiers
- Browsing history
- Any data from other apps on your device
Subscriptions and Payments
Pew Pal offers an optional subscription for full access to all features. All subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Third-Party Services
Pew Pal uses the following Apple services:
- Apple StoreKit: For processing in-app subscriptions (governed by Apple's Privacy Policy)
We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Data Security
Since all your data is stored locally on your device and we do not transmit any information to external servers, your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including:
- Device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID protection
- iOS encryption
- Secure Enclave protection
Children's Privacy
Pew Pal does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app contains Catholic liturgical content suitable for all ages and does not include any features that would require collecting personal data from users of any age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal data, there is no personal information for us to provide, correct, or delete. Your locally stored preferences can be reset by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
